Bidadari Island, The island of Angel
Bidadari Island is one of four beautiful islands in West Flores and one of 26 small island near Komodo Island. Beside of Komodo Island, the other major islands are Rinca and Padar. The third island became as the Komodo National Park with 11 of the mountain/ hill as well as the highest peak is Mount Satalibo (± 735 meters above sea level). If you are visiting Komodo Island, one can say do not skip Bidadari Island because is just 10 minutes to cross the coast.
The land around the island is surrounded by hills, trees and beautiful white sand makes the island well-known as White Sand Beach. The island is suit for divers and snorkelers who want to enjoy underwater panorama. Most of tourists love to come here because they can see turquoise water with small waves. From Labuan Bajo, you can take a boat for about 30 minutes. But, if you take a speedboat, it takes only 10 minutes. If you have reserved the room from the resort, they will pick you up from Labuan Bajo. Total area of Bidadari Island is 15 hectares and there are 10 cottages with five stars services and restaurant.
